"My interest in jewellery making started last year when I was living in Tasmania. The country's wilderness is unique and it inspired my work deeply. The shell use for this piece was found on a hike by the coast of a tiny island called Bruny, it's the Southest point of Australia."
Daiana Lukacs is a Bristol artist and was born in Brasov (1991), a small city in the heart of the Romanian Carpathians. She moved to Barcelona at an early age where she studied arts from an interdisciplinary perspective at the University of Barcelona (Fine Arts Bachelor and Master's in Contemporary Art Creation, 2009 – 2016). She exhibited her work collectively and solo in Barcelona, Germany, Italy and Tasmania. She recently settled in Bristol to continue expanding her views on art, music, and to get an insight in the cities green culture. A part from her artistic practice she is a professional tattooist at Apache Tattoo Studio (BS5) and she enjoys making jewellery out of found natural objects and porcelain.
